1/10 R/C Ford Bronco 2021 (CC-02)

Tamiya is proud to announce the release of the Ford Bronco 2021 as our new R/C model on the cross country CC-02 chassis.

The Ford Bronco has been sold since 1966, and the Ford Bronco 2021 was announced as the sixth generation model in 2021, 25 years since the last generation’s release. This car employs 2.3-liter inline-4 engine (standard) or 2.7-liter V6 engine (option). The model depicts the 2-door type’s top grade First Edition model.

This R/C model assembly kit depicts a 2-door model of the Ford Bronco 2021, and features a realistic polycarbonate body that artfully depicts the car, with classic Bronco features such as the rounded headlights, oblong taillights and front fender-top indentations. Also included are separate parts for recreating a roof rack, the front grille, mirrors, spare tire covers and more. Front and rear light cases are plated parts, and can be fitted with separately sold LEDs.

About the Model
• This is a 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 447mm, width: 204mm, height: 233mm (tentative). Wheelbase: 252mm (*1).
• The lightweight, durable 1.2mm thick polycarbonate body realistically captures the distinctive form with round front lights, raised lines on front fenders, and oblong taillights in style.
• Features PC-ABS H parts (grille, mirrors, spare tire cover and door handles) and metal-plated K parts (light cases).
• The PC-ABS roof rack part is included as a standard part to give the model a powerful cross country image.
• The CC-02 chassis has ladder frame which was inspired by full-size vehicles, provides both rigidity and cool styling, and allows stable performance even on tricky rocky and dirt roads. (*1: The use of M-size wheelbase with the CC-02 chassis is the first time.)
• 12-spoke black wheels (width: 26mm, offset: +6) (*2) are paired with semi-pneumatic rubber tires.

CC-02 Chassis - Off Road, Evolved

Designed for a wide range of off-road scenes including rocky terrain, the CC-02 chassis' ladder frame is inspired by full-size vehicles and is the base for its superior durability.

A 4WD setup employs the motor longitudinally behind the front axle with separated gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears front and rear.

Four-link rigid suspension is employed front and rear, with CVA oil dampers for all-encompassing control, even on tricky rock sections. This model comes with black twelve-spoke wheels and grippy block pattern tires.

Both front and rear ends of the CC-02 chassis utilize 4-link rigid setups with shock absorption provided by CVA oil dampers.	The motor is mounted in the chassis front-middle; power goes via gearbox and propeller shafts to front and rear axles.	Up to 20 different gear ratios can be achieved with reassembly of the gearbox and use of separately sold pinion gears.
Reinforced plastic axle housings each contain a differential, which can be locked with reassembly.	A highly capable off-road drive awaits, with shaft-driven 4WD and front/rear 4-link rigid suspension setups on the CC-02 chassis	Axle housings are molded in reinforced plastic, and house 3-bevel differentials. They can be locked when running on lower-grip surfaces
