1/35 Fukuisaurus

Around 120 million years ago, the herbivorous Fukuisaurus roamed the area that is now Fukui, located on the northern coast of Japan. Using its beak-like mouth, it clipped leaves and vegetation before chewing them with its back teeth. With its relatively long arms and sturdy body, this dinosaur is believed to have been able to move on either two or four legs depending on the situation. Measuring approximately 5.2 meters in length, it shared its habitat with the fearsome carnivorous Fukuiraptor.

Developed with the cooperation of the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum and the Faculty of Dinosaur Paleontology at Fukui Prefectural University, this 1/35 scale kit brings the Fukuisaurus to life in highly realistic detail. Assembly is simple and enjoyable thanks to cement-free snap-fit construction — just fit the parts together and watch this prehistoric giant take shape!

About the Model

• This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 130~140mm (approximate).
• No cement is required. Snap parts together.
• The stocky body with relatively long arms is faithfully recreated based on extensive research at the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum and under supervision of the Fukui Prefectural University.
• Features realistic depictions of mouth and teeth, and skin texture.
• Includes a display stand, and also 2D human figures to compare the size of the Fukuisaurus and humans.
• Comes with a color leaflet including introductions of Fukuisaurus and dinosaurs discovered in Fukui.
• Includes a paper scenery background which can be colored to provide a backdrop for your model.

Please note that this kit, along with Item 28501 1/35 Fukuiraptor, is part of the new “CLIC LOC” plastic model series, featuring precision-fit parts that require no cement for assembly. More information about this exciting new series will be introduced at a later date.
