The F8 truck, produced by the illustrious German manufacturer MAN, achieved significant commercial success. It was characterized by the successful union of the reliable 'made in Germany' powertrain with a cabin designed and produced in France by Saviem. For the most part it was equipped with a longitudinal 6-cylinder frontal engine and was in production from the late sixties until the mideighties.
It can certainly be considered an iconic vehicle, and truly representative of commercial and industrial vehicles of that period. Its design generated the development of numerous chassis configurations and also the 19.321 two-axle road tractor which is considered to be one of the most versatile models of its type, and which was widely used in logistics, goods handling and transportation activities.
