1/14 R/C Volvo FH16 Globetrotter XL 750 4x2 Tractor

Tamiya welcomes the Volvo FH16 Globetrotter XL 750 4x2 Tractor in our popular 1/14 Tractor Truck series! 

The FH16 series is the flagship of Swedish manufacturer Volvo Trucks and it was the result of a model change in 2012. The top-class Globetrotter XL offers comfortable interior space and superior aerodynamics, and allows  long-distance travel coupled with a high-output 750hp engine.

The FH series, one of Volvo's esteemed brands, underwent a complete transformation in 2012. This model kit is an awe-inspiring representation of the FH16 Globetrotter XL 750 4x2, a powerful truck equipped with a 16.1-liter inline-6 turbo engine capable of 750hp.

The model boasts a highly authentic body, customizable parts, a realistic interior, and even includes a driver figure. Its chassis is made with numerous metal parts and features a three-speed transmission that accommodates gear changes.

Roof- and cab-side deflectors are just some of the aero parts on display in this model.	The Globetrotter XL has the highest roof in the FH16 series. This model includes a driver figure.	The front of the model has a stainless-steel photo-etched front grille and LED-compatible headlights and fog lamps.
Antennas and roof deflectors give even greater realism. Horn parts are separate components.	LEDs in the light bar atop the roof can be lit up for a super-authentic look.	A close-up on the air duct on the left of the cab.
Side mirrors feature multiple mirror sections and moving plastic stays.	The metal-plated step has realistic anti-slip pattern. .	The three-speed transmission can be operated via transmitter.
The front suspension uses metal leaf springs and friction dampers.	The servo is affixed in the left of the chassis and actuates the wheels via a steering shaft and two rods.	A reinforced resin axle and leaf springs are used in the rear suspension. .
Double tires are employed at the rear.	Fuel tanks are realistically depicted on both sides of the chassis.	Rear lights are also compatible with LEDs.
At the back are depictions of the battery box and air tank, plus a coupler for use when connecting semi-trailers.	The FH16 cab sticker is recreated by a sticker; the 750 emblem is a metal transfer.	MFC unit (included in Japanese market models only) is installed in the right tank.

About the Model
• This is a 1/14 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 462mm, width: 193mm, height: 309mm (excluding side mirrors, antenna, etc.). 
• The model authentically depicts the Volvo FH16 Globetrotter XL 750 4x2 Tractor with the FH series’  top-class Globetrotter XL roof shape.
• The cab is faithfully recreated by precise injection molding, and the distinctive front grille is captured by  photo-etched parts. 
• Includes parts to render customized sections such as a roof bar featuring light pods, low bar and side bars.LEDs (sold separately) are also attachable.
• Just like the actual vehicle, this model has rear-axle drive 4x2 chassis, and has the motor and  transmission at the front of a metal ladder frame. 
• Assembly type 3-speed transmission allows gear changes via separately available 4-channel transmitter. 
• Multi-Function Control Unit (Item 56523: MFC-03, sold separately) offers light, sound, and vibration  operation. 
• Interior parts such as modern-design dashboard and seats are included, and can be installed together with the  Multi-Function Control Unit. 
• Compatible with a wealth of Tractor Truck Option Parts. 
• Includes a 1/14 scale driver figure.
